What are we going to do?

Day 1

We will begin our journey north to the breathtaking California coast, making our first stop in Santa Barbara. Here we will visit a Spanish mission and learn about the relevance of these religious missions for the development of the region. We will then continue north to the charming Danish village of Solvang, where we can enjoy its stores and charms.

Continuing our journey north, we will drive along the Route 1 Promenade (small vehicles only, large vehicles will drive the 17-mile route) to get a close-up view of the spectacular California coastline. After our excursion, we will visit the town of Carmel, which is home to renowned actor Clint Eastwood. We will have free time to stroll around this beautiful town before heading to Silicon Valley, where we will stay at the Spring Hill Suites by Marriott Oakland Airport overnight.

Day 2

On this day, we will have the opportunity to appreciate why San Francisco is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world. We will begin our tour at the famous Fisherman’s Wharf, where we will board a charming cruise on the bay. During the tour, we will pass under the majestic Golden Gate Bridge and circle historic Alcatraz Island. Upon returning to Pier 39, we will enjoy a delicious lunch before continuing our tour of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

Our tour will include stops at places such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Union Square Railroad Station, Chinatown and Nob Hill.

Finally, we will conclude our tour with a spectacular night view of the city from the Bay Bridge. All this before heading to our lodging in Modesto, where we will stay at the Modesto Hotel.

Day 3

On the summer route, we will explore the farmlands of the Joaquin Valley, all the way to the incredible Yosemite National Park. This impressive 1,200 square mile area in the Sierra Nevada is filled with forests, lakes and waterfalls.

We will make stops at iconic sites such as El Capitan, Bridal-Veil Falls and Half Dome. We will also have the opportunity to hike from the Yosemite visitor center to the impressive Yosemite Falls, the highest waterfalls in North America with a height of 730 meters.

In the months of April and October, depending on the weather conditions, the summer or winter route will take place.

On our Winter Route, we will begin with a tour of Monterey, including the waterfront and Cannery Row. We will then head south to visit the famous Hearst Castle, built by newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst. We will tour the impressive house, filled with antiques and see why the castle served as an entertainment venue for the rich and famous during the first half of the 20th century.

In the evening, we will head south to Las Vegas and stay at the Comfort Suites Stevenson Ranch.

Day 4

Today we head east through the arid desert and Death Valley to reach the famous city of Las Vegas, known as the gambling capital of the world. Before arriving, we will stop for lunch at a shopping mall that offers bargain prices and a wide variety of well-known brands.

Day 5

Our adventure begins by traveling southeast through the arid desert to the Navajo Indian Reservation. From there, we will head to one of the most impressive places in the world: the Grand Canyon.

We will visit the southern part of this impressive site and observe how the force of the Colorado River carved its way through the rock over millions of years, creating a unique geological spectacle. After a delicious lunch, we will continue our journey to the east of the canyon, making stops at some of the indigenous markets that offer their wonderful handicrafts. It will be an unforgettable day!

We will be staying at Clarion – Page.

Day 6

We will begin our journey at a place the Navajo call “water running over rocks”. There, we will visit the top of the famous Antelope Canyon and observe the impressive dunes sculpted by Mother Nature over the years.

Afterwards, we will head west to Bryce Canyon, home to some of the most amazing rock carvings in the world. We will witness the changing colors of the sunset from one of the park’s viewpoints (depending on the time of sunset).

After the tour, we will drive to the city of Kanab, where we will stay at the La Quinta Inn & Suites Kanab. On some tours, we will spend the night in Cedar City, staying at the Comfort Inn.

Day 7

After breakfast, we will depart for Zion National Park, named after the Mormons who settled in the region and who consider a visit to this park to be a similar experience to a religious one. The grandeur of the mountains and the stillness of the desert make us feel as if we were in a completely different place.
