Description of the Activity

We started on the first day along the California coast, varying the route somewhat depending on the season. On the second day, you will visit San Francisco and its most iconic sites. On the third day, in summer, we will see Yosemite National Park, while in winter we will visit Monterey and Hearst Castle. On the fourth day, we will travel to Las Vegas visiting the famous Strip at night. Finally, on the fifth day, we will observe the Hoover Dam before returning to Los Angeles in the afternoon.

What are we going to do?

Day 1

The Summer Route begins heading north towards the breathtaking coast of California. We will stop in Santa Barbara to visit the site of a Spanish mission and learn more about its importance in the development of the region. Then, we will continue our journey to Solvang, a picturesque Danish village with charming stores. Continuing along the Paseo de la Ruta, we will enjoy the spectacular views of the coast, and finally, we will visit the city of Carmel, home of the famous actor Clint Eastwood.

Lodging for this route will be at the Springhill Suites by Marriott Oakland Airport.

On the other hand, the Winter Route also starts north along California‘s stunning coastline, with the first stop in Santa Barbara. On this route, we will begin our tour in the heart of downtown on the “state street promenade”, enjoying the exclusive stores and restaurants in a quiet environment isolated from traffic. Afterwards, we will visit the beaches of Santa Barbara and Stearns Pier to enjoy the ocean views. The visit will continue at the Santa Barbara Spanish Mission to learn about its importance in the development of the region, and then we will head to Solvang, a picturesque Danish community in the heart of California.

After a leisurely lunch, we will continue north through Silicon Valley before arriving at our hotel at Springhill Suites by Marriott Oakland Airport for the night.

Day 2

Today we are going to know why San Francisco is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

We will begin our tour at the famous Fisherman’s Wharf, where we will take a cruise on the beautiful San Francisco Bay. During the cruise, we will pass under the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and circle historic Alcatraz Island. Afterwards, we will return to Pier 39 for lunch and then continue with a tour of the city’s most iconic sites, such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Union Square Railroad Station, Chinatown and Nob Hill.

The tour will end with a panoramic view of the city from the Bay Bridge as we travel to our hotel. For summer lodging, we will be staying at the Modesto Hotel in Modesto, while for winter lodging, we will be staying at the Springhill Suites Oakland Airport.

Day 3

In summer, we will drive through the expansive farmlands of the Joaquin Valley to the breathtaking Yosemite National Park, a 1,200-square-mile park that is home to majestic forests, lakes and waterfalls in the Sierra Nevada.

Our tour will include stops at iconic sites such as El Capitan, Bridal-Veil Falls and Half Dome, and a hike from the Yosemite Visitor Center to the spectacular Yosemite Falls, the tallest waterfall in North America at 730 meters high. After an exciting day in the park, we will head to Stevenson Ranch for the night.

In winter, we’ll begin by exploring Monterey, including the waterfront and Cannery Row, before heading south to visit the famous Hearst Castle, built by newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst. We will tour the opulent house full of antiques and see why the castle used to be a place of entertainment for the rich and famous.

Our overnight stay will be at Comfort Suites Stevenson Ranch.

Day 4

Today, our journey will take us eastward through the desert and Death Valley to the city of Las Vegas, known as the gambling capital of the world.

Along the way, we will stop for lunch at a shopping mall on the Nevada state border, where we will find bargain prices on well-known brands such as Nike, Levi’s, Reebok and Timberland, among others.

In the evening, we will drive along the famous Strip to admire some of the impressive hotels and extravagant buildings in the middle of the desert, including Caesar’s Palace, Mirage, Luxor, Paris, Mandalay Bay, New York New York, Treasure Island, and many more. The evening will offer us the opportunity to enjoy one of the many shows offered by the city or try our luck in the incredible casinos. Who knows, maybe fortune will be with us tonight.

We will rest at Harrah’s Hotel, ready to continue our trip the next day.

Day 5

After breakfast, we will depart Las Vegas for the impressive Hoover Dam, where we will have the opportunity to understand how this impressive human work was built and its impact on the area.

After this visit, we will head west, stopping at the state border to try our luck one more time at the slot machines, before returning to California. Finally, our exciting tour ends in Los Angeles in the afternoon.

We recommend you to wear comfortable clothes, a hat and sunglasses because of the heat. We will carry water for all our customers. It is important to bring identification documents.

What do the professional photos of the tour consist of?

Our guide will take pictures in the places with the best views, so you don’t have to worry about the pictures, we will take them for you.
