Description of the Activity

Enjoy this complete package with an itinerary that includes visits to Philadelphia, Washington DC, Niagara Falls and a tour in an authentic Amish wagon. What are we going to do?

We will start early in the morning, leaving New York heading north, crossing the breathtaking Delaware Gap to reach Watkins Glen State Park, in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. There we will have an exciting hike through Watkins Glen Canyon to see the beautiful falls before continuing our journey to Niagara Falls, passing the majestic Seneca Lake and arriving in the afternoon.

If it is winter, instead of visiting Watkins Glen State Park, we will go to Montour Falls. Once there, we will have a tour of the U.S. side of the falls, including the American Falls, Goat Island and its twin island. In the evening, we will enjoy the colorful illumination of Niagara Falls. We will stay at US-Comfort Inn the Pointe on the U.S. side and Ramada by Wyndham on the Canadian side.

As we leave the hotel we will be able to hear the powerful sound of Niagara Falls. We will have the opportunity to view the waterfalls from Horse Shoe Falls and feel their power aboard the Maid of Mist (available from May to October). During the winter, until April, when the Maid of Mist is closed, we will tour the Power Vista Hydroelectric Plant, and visit the Cave of the Winds.

At noon we will head to downstate New York, enjoying a shopping excursion in one of the largest outlet malls, where we will find the best deals on brand name and designer stores. We will arrive at our hotel in New Jersey in the early evening and stay at the La Quinta Inn & Suites, Clifton, NJ.

Our trip will begin in New Jersey and we will head to Pennsylvania, where we will visit Philadelphia, known as the city of brotherly love. In this historic city, we will visit landmarks such as the Liberty Bell, Constitution Square and Hall, Congress Hall and Elfreth’s Alley, the nation’s oldest inhabited residential street. After a scenic drive through the city, we will see the famous Rocky Steps and then head to Lancaster County, home of the Amish community.

In Lancaster, we will have the opportunity to learn about their way of life and how they adapted to the modern world without giving up their traditions. We will take an authentic Amish car tour of their farms and learn about their use of renewable energy sources. Afterwards, we will visit the Amish market to purchase handmade products.

Finally, we will depart for Washington DC and stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Alexandria.

We will begin our day by visiting the Thomas Jefferson Memorial surrounded by the Basin Basin and the famous Japanese cherry trees. We will then drive to historic Arlington National Cemetery, where we will witness the changing of the guard and visit the Kennedy family mausoleum.

We will continue our tour on Capitol Hill to see the U.S. Capitol and the White House to understand the core of the U.S. government. Afterwards, we will go to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History, as the Air and Space Museum will be closed due to renovations. Finally, we will visit the Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Korea and Vietnam Memorials before arriving in New York in the evening.

Is it necessary to print the ticket?

It is not necessary, you will receive a confirmation email on your cell phone with a reference number, this is enough for us.

What should I bring?

We recommend you to wear comfortable clothes, a hat and sunglasses because of the heat. We will carry water for all our customers. It is important to bring identification documents.

What do the professional photos of the tour consist of?

Our guide will take pictures in the places with the best views, so you don’t have to worry about the pictures, we will take them for you.
